TAM is bounded to sustainability
It is official now- Since May 2018, the TAM is a participant of the sustainability agreement of Thuringia. Jörg Penzel, speaker of the IHK, handed over the certficate to managing director Mario Görke, as well as to Alexander Buschmann, quality manager. Therefore, the TAM is varified within the scope of the sustainability agreement of Thuringia.
Thuringian companies are registered in the sustainability agreement if they, above and beyond the legal statutes, actively spare natural resources and work with environmental technologies. That also includes management approaches on sustainability, for example the environmental management system EMAS, which is being implemented by TAM since January 2018.
Since March 2004, the Thuringian sustainability agreement exists among the Thuringian government and the Thuringian economy. By now, the sustainability agreement (NAT) has established itself as the biggest network of the free state, which is based on voluntariness and is self-organized by the economy. It is a lively network of politics, management and economy. After a duration of 14 years, about 600 sustainably economizing companies are engaged in the sustainability agreement (NAT).
Thank you for your visit!
For the open house day in Dingelstädt in April, more than 800 visitors showed up. For many locals the TAM is still known as ILI (the Industrial Agricultural Overhauling), which was more than 25 years ago by now.
With strong interest, our guests had fun looking at the company premises and the production environment. Many visitors have not seen the company since the GDR (German Democratic Republic) during their “polytechnical course” at the “ILI” (Industrial Agricultural Restoration) and were highly curious by how the company has developed during the past 28 years.
A competition was able to register 75 participants. Seven prices were awarded, with a high-quality gas barbecue among them as the first price, which was handed to Maik Gessinger in Dingelstädt. Gessinger was the fastest using the TAM screw conveyor, with just 15.97 seconds.
Further on, in order of priority, a cordless screwdriver, a radio, a steakhouse-coupon, a headlight and two vouchers for an internet shop were offered as a price.
Moreover, in the occasion of the open house day, the “Spatzengruppe” of the kindergarten “Bummi” were given a pleasure to. Managing director of TAM, Mario Görke, handed over two toy tractors to the kids and educators, which were directly tested by the boys and girls.
3rd participation at Perimeter Protection
From January 16th until January 18th it has happened again – we have presented us at the Perimeter Protection in Nürnberg for the third time. Thank you to all the visitors! A special exhibition piece was our turnstile, which is of course galvanized and powder-coated. The refinements of this construction are characterized by the covered drainage, as well as by the rooftop consisting of VSG-glass with semi-matt unit foil. The rooftop is equipped with indirect and energy-efficient LED-lights.
